  • After losing his family in a car accident when he was 2 years old, Sol grew up in an foster family with 5 other orphans
  • The apocalypse happend when he was just 15 years old.
    He lost his foster family, when zombies attacked his foster home
  • Sol served fortress 03 as a soldier until he got bitten by a zombie himself at age 18 while protecting his fellow soldier and friend
  • Sol has selective mutism. No one in fortress 03 knew his name so his friend just nicknamed him Sol

When he was just 2 years old, a little boy lost his entire family in a car crash. He was soon adopted by a foster family and given the name Hyacinth. The boy enjoyed growing up with his 5 foster siblings and was something like the older brother and caretaker of them until the apocalypse happend. Being only 15 himself he could only hide and watch in horror as his family was taken from him once more right before his eyes. Luckily the boy survived that day and was found and taken away by Chicago fortress 03's search and rescue team about two weeks later. the now young man tried his best to show his gratitude by joining their reconnaissance team. It was there where the now young man met someone he would consider his friend and swore to himself to protect him no matter what. Unfortunately for "Sol", as he was called by that friend, he was bitten by a zombie himself when he was 18 years old. However his strong feelings for his friend prevented him from bitting him too. His friend, who recognized Sol's desire to protect him, took him in after this, but failed to treat Sol like an equal. Following this betrayal, Sol ran away and locked himself away until he was found by the Minneapolis shelter 16, where he is now working as a chef.
