Trivia

  • Yuna is not the only Mechanica out there. There are about a couple hundred in entire Japan.
  • Technically she's not allowed to date but being aquintances with benefits does not fall under that umbrella
  • She has no reproductive organs anymore, which basically makes her intersexual. She identifies as female
  • Her weapon of choice is a single-handed sword
  • Her glasses propose is concealing her mechanically enhanced eyes, which display important information in her field of vision
  • Note: Yuna and Yuni orgin off the same OC concept, a humanoid called Hikata Yuni. Later on that OC was scraped but I ended up liking the idea so I reused it for Yuna. Hikata Yuni's basic design (Haircolor , Eyes & Hairstyle) was used for Yuni.

    Actually Hikata Yuni had two daughters, one being a girl named Yuna. I think when comparing their designs it might actually be obvious.

Regarding

When she was just 4 years old, Yuna was involved in a car crash, almost losing her life due to extrem brain damage. However she was saved by a doctor last minute, replacing her brain with a powerful processor. This procedure was not exactly legal, therefore her sudden healing was concealed and brushed under the rug. Over time, more and more parts of her were replaced by robotic parts, turning her into a humanoid or Mechanica, as believers and conspiracy theorists like to call those human-like creatures with supersonic speed and the ability to take down mysterious monsters appearing all over the city.

During her final highschool year she met the delinquent Ren, a moody yet caring but aloof person who just so happend to get in trouble with such a monster. After the incident, they stuck together for the rest of their school days, before taking different paths in life. Yuna became a fulltime Mechanica, Ren got involved with the Mafia and rose in their ranks. Nowadays their relationship is purely sexual, as they practice s&m together.
