Kinoshita Sakura is the second princess of the trade empire Yamazakura. However the existence of this tradition-rich nation is threatened by the neighbouring Yanan Empire, who wants to expand their power over the continent. After having lost her father in battle, Sakura, her mother the queen, as well as the crown-princess struggle to find a solution for establishing peace with the Yanan Empire. That is until Sakura gains knowledge of a marriage proposal of the King of Avalan, Wyn, who is not only feared in battle but is also known as a cruel and emotionless military leader. But if it is for the sake of the people of Yamazakura, isn't marrying a tyrant who would never love you not that much of a deal?
