Marianne used to be a gifted herbist known for being able to cure all kind of diseases. Orphaned at a young age, when her parents died in a sea voyage, she grew up in a rich stepfamily. Unaware of her activities she was protected by this family until they found and called her out for witchcraft. A short time after that Marianne was burnt in her hometown. But little did the people know she came back to live to take revenge on humanity. Living hidden in the deep forests of Germany, The "Pest" (german "Plaque)" continued taking one live after another until one day everything changed when she picked up a heavily injured girl in the forest.Marianne had pity with her and took her with her to treat her wounds. Said girl turned out to be the Grand Duchess Cecillia. Having falling in love with her, Marianne joined Cecillia as her personal quard trying to bring peace and justice to the people of her country
