Cyna grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden but she has always wanted to go study abroad. Working hard to archive her dream, she spent countless hours in her favorite book stores and libaries. Cyna used to be very naive and got into a abusive relationship with a boy. It was just the right time, that she received her acceptance into San Francisco State University. Her boyfriend had already beat her up so many times and caused her to be taken to the hospital. When he learned that she would leave for the US, he almost got her killed for not being loyal to him. Cyna barely escaped him but she's still afraid he would come for her. In her new home in SF she got to know her new best friend and roommate Anjali, a student from India and together Cyna finally regained her confidence.
